Charmed-n-Dangerous

This summer is going to prove to be an experimental one when it comes to photography.  Finally, after pretty much exhausting all of my camera's capabilities, I've decided to buy some fun add ons -- a super wide angle lens, UV filter, and a (drum roll, plz) IF filter. eBay is a wonderful place, lol. I absolutely cannot wait to see what kinds of photos I can turn out with all these new tools - and I even bought a remote for the camera so I can do more time lapse without losing 49 out of 50 shots due to me shaking the camera when pressing the shutter button, even when it's on a tripod. Ohhhh boy, has it been awhile since I've updated or even spent much time here!  Life, life, life, and winter months in North Dakota.  Put that together and it doesn't leave much time for creativity on any level, lol. Ok, that's a butt-poor excuse for not expressing myself through art, but honestly, it's all I can come up with. :P I have a new computer now, so I'm having fun refilling it with all the tidbits that go into making my art, so I've been stimulated again... which means new stuff to come shortly!  Woohoo, eh?  I've missed it, lol. I'm liking the new set-up, lol.  Everything seems so much....bigger! My daughter let me use her as a model again, so I'll have a bunch of new work up very soon.  I'm really experimenting with digital enhancement and taking raw photographs and making them as special as I can, which doesn't sound much different than my previous work, but it is, if only in that I've completely accepted myself as smack dab in the middle of a photographer and a photo manipulator.  I don't do a lot of the huge manipulating like some of the great artists here do - I tend to just do what I mentioned above and put some striking enhancements on what comes out of my ca
